Team Kline’s 5-Star Safety Program is a structured roadmap for training and professional development that guides employees from their first day on the job through each stage of their career.
By focusing on skill mastery, safety awareness, and consistency in daily performance, employees can advance through five levels of achievement—each with new opportunities and rewards.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Participants move through the program by meeting goals in four key areas:

Tool Proficiency – Mastering equipment listed in the Kline Tool Bank.

Training & Certifications – Completing required safety courses.

Toolbox Talks – Staying current on required safety discussions.

Safe Working Days – Maintaining consecutive days without incidents or violations.
Each completed tier earns employees Safety Bucks and recognition for their commitment to safety and growth.

PROGRAM DEFINITIONS

Safety Violation: Any unsafe act or behavior that could lead to injury or an OSHA citation. Results in a 5-point deduction and a reset of safe-day count.

Incident: Any act resulting in workplace injury.

PPE Violation: Failure to follow PPE requirements results in a 5-point deduction per warning; three warnings equal a formal safety violation.
